DIL 545/C Dilution System for controlled static dilution (1:100) of aerosols at static air flow rate (3 L/min), digital status communication
The self-adjusting DIL 545/C Dilution System is used to defined and reproducible adjustment of the aerosol particle concentration (dilution).
It is particularly useful for the verification of the test aerosol for testing cleanroom installations. In the standard EN ISO 14644-3, this is included as a requirement.

Diffusion Dryer Unit DDU 570/L for drying of water-containing aerosols by silica gel, short model
The diffusion dryer unit DDU 570/H is used for drying aerosols generated from an aqueous suspension or solution. The diffusion dryer is used downstream of the aerosol generator.
The Diffusion Dryer DDU 570 has been developed mainly as additional equipment for the Aerosol Generators produced by Topas GmbH. The diffusion dryer consists of an Acryl tube with 2 caps on its ends and tube connectors. rnIn the operation status the dryer is filled with Silica gel. The aerosol to be dried is streaming through 3 screen pipes which are surrounded by Silica Gel (with indicator) serving as drying agent. The Silica gel causes a very dry atmosphere. The water in the aerosol moves into the dry environment by the effect of diffusion. Because the aerosol does not get into direct contact with the drying agent only a very low particle loss occurs.

Dynamic Dilution System DDS 560 for variable-adjustable dilution of aerosols at variable air flow rates
The dynamic dilution system DDS 560 serves for customised and reproducible dilution of aerosols with variable dilution factor and for any flow rate in the range of (0.5 – 3.0) L/min.
The adjusted dilution factor is shown on a display. In the applied principle that corresponds to the standard VDI 3491-15, particles are removed from the sample according to the specified dilution ratio – the particle size distribution remains unchanged.
Optical particle counters show a maximum measurable aerosol concentration due to their operating principle. If this limit is exceeded major errors cannot be excluded, for example because of coincidence. In case of clean room testing or laminar flow box testing according to VDI 2083 measurements of high upstream concentrations are required. Conventional clean room particle counters are unable to measure at such high concentrations.
By placing the dynamic dilutor DDS 560 before a particle measuring device, e.g. the LAP 322: Laser Aerosol Particle Size Spectrometer, the aerosol concentration can be reduced by a factor selected by the user. Thus, the required upstream concentration can be diluted to a concentration which is within the measuring range of the particle counting device.
