After the recent update of test dust standard ISO 12103-1:1997 to ISO 12103-1:2016, Particle Technology has made a major investment in the Microtrac S3500 Extended Range Laser Diffraction Analyser. The ISO 12103-1:2016 update meant that the specified certification method was changed from using the coulter counter technique to laser diffraction, specifically using the Microtrac S3500.
What does this test dust investment mean?
This investment ensures the ongoing conformity of the particle size distribution of our ISO 12103-1 A1 Ultrafine, A2 Fine, A3 Medium and A4 Coarse Test Dusts. It also ensures that the production of Test Dusts remain the core competency of Particle Technology.
